Citizen Hope for America Communicators

Repeating from the "About Us" article, at the 1982 National Day of Prayer event–President Reagan said, "I also believe this blessed land was set apart in a very special way, a country created by men and women who came here not in search of gold, but in search of God. They would be free people, living under law with faith in their Maker and their future." Talking about the power of the laws of creation's God that deal with right and wrong, the President said, "The source of our knowledge has been expelled from the classroom." The A Nation At Risk report, by far the most significant non-partisan study of public education to date: "The educational foundations of our society are presently being eroded by a rising tide ..." The report emphasized this dictum by Thomas Jefferson: "I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion."

Leadership–each of us reaching our associates, neighbors, friends, relatives, etc. As the people become informed, they will take back their authority and see to it that their youth are taught American history, traditional family values, morality and community civility.

  • Respect for higher authority reversed the linear trend of tyranny in history.
  • Leadership–the story is told about John Chapman, who was born in 1774. He traveled throughout the American colonies giving out apple seeds. To see where John's work changed things for the better, all people have to do is look for the apple trees.
  • Citizen involvement–right now, informed Americans need to restore citizen control over the soft sciences for behavior being taught to our youth in our schools.
Have your own outreach for employees, contacts, community leaders, etc.
